Tillies Tots

We, Maltepoo Dogs (also spelled Maltipoo or Maltapoo or Malti-poo) are small, mixed-breed dogs. Maxxy, Prissy, and I are half AKC Toy Poodle and half AKC Maltese. We are first generation Maltepoo, and my babies will be 100% Maltepoo.

First Generation Maltepoos have diverse appearances. We can be teacup or toy in size weighing between 3lbs and 16lbs with curly hair, wavy hair, or straight hair. We come in a variety of colors, including gold, apricot, gray, cream, white, black, or mixtures of these colors. Maxxy is “brindle” in color because he is mixture of black, white, with a little bit of gold on his ears. His color really looks like gray. We are very popular dogs and are loved by stars, such as Jessica Simpson and Lindsay Lohan, who are pleased to show off their prized Maltepoo dogs! All of us at Tillie’s Tots have the gorgeous Maltese tails that curve up and over our backs and long ears. My maid does not allow the groomers to cut the hair on our ears. Our life expectancy is usually between 12 and 18 years, depending on the care and diet we receive from our staff.

Tillie’s Tots stresses socialization... so... my staff has the "blessed privilege" to play with and love on my puppies and me every day! While some might consider this wasted time, it is anything but that! A loved puppy is naturally a healthier puppy! Great puppy care requires meeting the needs of these little lives physically and socially. My maid and butler have meetings here every week, so the puppies are definitely touched and loved by many humans. All of the staff’s six grandchildren love to play with us, too. Personally, I’m a little shy around strangers, so I tremble to let my staff know that I don’t want to go to the vet or to the groomer or to meet a new person. They don’t usually fall for it, though, and I have to meet new people. My staff has done an excellent job loving Maxxy, Prissy, and me!

We are little bundles of joy with great BIG personalities, easy to train, and have excellent temperaments.

I am extremely intelligent and love children, as does Maxxy and all Maltepoos. We are affectionate, loyal, awesomely playful, and cuddly. We are happy, loving, and socialize well with other pets although Maxxy is pretty loud when he says, “hello”. Due to our calm natures, we Maltepoos make excellent lap dogs. To tell you the truth, I would sit happily in my maid’s lap all day long. Playful and affectionate, our puppies will make great companions and family pets. We do well with obedience training because we love to please and love your praise.

I believe I can keep a person calm and organized, particularly when I'm in their lap. Sometimes my staff leaves me outside for too long and then they mess up. It's hard to get good help these days. I can't manage the house as well from the back yard.

My staff cannot find any research that as been performed on us Maltepoos although Tillie’s Tots puppies have been completely healthy except for some middle ear yeast infections, which are not uncommon to these small dogs. Thankfully, we, in general, tend to be healthier than pure breeds, as the breeding lines are more broadly spread, and there is limited opportunity for inbreeding. At Tillie’s Tots, we do not allow inbreeding.

We, and our Full Blood Maltepoo puppies, are healthy, and all vaccinations are current. A record of shots will accompany your baby to you. Tillie’s Tot’s puppies have their vaccinations and have been wormed when they arrive in their new home. It is imperative that you take my babies to your veterinarian as soon as possible to verify that they are in good health.

Maxxy, Prissy, and I require nutritional foods like Nutro Ultra, Nature’s Recipe, Wellness, Eagle Pack, Avoderm, Blue Buffalo, or other nutritional foods. Wheat free is best! We eat both canned and dry, and our staff buys us really healthy treats, too!
